It is not recommended as there is usually an underlying issue causing the water damage therefore we highly recommend getting the issue investigated and rectified prior to repainting.
Oil paint disperses over the top of water it won’t melt
Plaster will dry out in good conditions and will take approximately two days
Yes. However, there is usually an underlying issue as to why the plasterboard is getting wet. It is adviseable to investigate the issue and have it rectified prior to replacing the plasterboard.
