How much does it cost to paint a property?
At Rochele Painting we pride ourselves on the accuracy of our painting quotations. We spend a lot of time developing painting rates and quoting procedures to give our clients the most accurate painting prices.
We are licenced painters completing licenced work. The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) requires all projects over $3,000 + GST to be completed by a licensed painter and therefore this is our minimum charge.
Our prices are based on meterage rates that we review collectively by drawing on the decades of experience within our team. We then set these rates in place for a year or more to create consistency for our customers and our painters.

Is it worth paying someone to paint your property?
Some people hesitate when hiring a professional painter as they believe they can do it themselves. Most people start out fine but soon realise it isn’t as easy as it looks. As professionals, we make it look easy because we do it every day and have done so for over 50 years. We have the product knowledge, application experience, professional equipment and expert skill to ensure a paint finish that is top quality.
It’s not just about slapping on a coat of paint. That coat of paint needs to serve a purpose that isn’t only aesthetically pleasing to the eye but also functional, especially in the subtropical climate we live in here in South East Queensland. Our paint coatings must protect against the harsh sun and hot summers and survive our storm seasons. So a slap-happy DIY job is not worth the risk as it will cost you more time, money and stress than hiring a professional from the get-go.

Once you’ve signed off on your quote and documents, we’ll contact you to arrange a deposit and start date for your project. Usually, our painting team can be onsite within 2 weeks of sign off to start your project.

You’ll be kept in the loop for every step
Our teams will arrive at 7:30am on your chosen day, ready to start your project. We’ll work professionally through all aspects of the project as specified, taking extra care to prepare all surfaces for the best possible result. Your assigned Project Manager will arrange regular visits to ensure your project progresses as planned.
We’ll keep you in the loop with your project’s progress via your R.O.C.O project page.

Project Completion
Paint it well
Once you are happy with the result, we will pack up our equipment and clean up after ourselves. Our onsite Foreman will go over the finished project with you, and our Project Manager will arrange a final inspection. We’ll check in to make sure you’re happy before you sign off.

Rochele has a minimum charge of $3000 + GST for each painting project.
Some examples of a job around this price range include:
- 1 – 2 bedroom unit,
- 25 doors and frames,
- 80 metres of timber fence,
- 50 Metres of balustrade,
- A lounge and dinning room with VJ walls (tongue and groove),
- Walls to 8 offices, or
- 3- 4 bedrooms in a standard house
Yes we offer free quotes that are also obligation free.
No. If your project is below contract price of $3,300 then you will be invoiced on completion. If it is over contract price of $3,300 you will be invoiced for a 10% deposit and then progress payments with a final on completion.
We take most payment options such as eftpos, credit card, bank transfer or cheque.

Yes, these can be tailor-made to suit your sinking fund needs.
For Commercial Properties
Because we understand that your space needs a painting solution that fits within your budget, we offer a range of flexible payment plans. These can be tailored to your current financial situation to allow the work to be done now and then paid for over the next 6 months to 10 years.
ROCHELE® exclusively uses high-quality paint products from reputable brands, such as Dulux, Taubmans, and Wattyl. If requested, our painting tradesmen can use eco-friendly and low-VOC paints that are better for the environment and your health. We can advise you on the best type of product for your paint job, based on your preferences, budget, and the surface to be painted. We can also help you choose the right colour and finish for your project, using our colour consultation service.
Yes, we offer colour consultation for our painting projects. Our colour consultants are experts in choosing the right finishes for your home or business. They will visit your site and provide you with a personalised colour scheme that suits your style, budget, and environment. They will also provide you with colour samples and a digital preview of how your project will look.
As part of our services, ROCHELE® also prepares a surface by sanding/scraping it back to a hard surface. This helps to preserve and refresh your house interior or business exterior at the source.
We ensure quality and customer satisfaction for our painting jobs by using high-quality materials, skilled and experienced painters, and strict quality control measures. From the free quote to the finished job, ROCHELE® will inspect every stage of the painting process and make sure everything is done according to your specifications and expectations.
Depending on where you’re located, our team of Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or Brisbane painters will also communicate with you throughout the project and address any questions or concerns you may have. We will not consider the project complete until you too agree that we’ve done an excellent job painting.
