When home is a community, getting it right is a big responsibility. South East Queensland strata have staked their reputation on ROCHELE painting services for decades. Don’t stress. We’ve got this.

A space where people work is different. How it’s painted matters. You've got business to do and that space is where it happens. Not many painters in Brisbane know how to handle that. We know how to keep things moving.

Highrise Painting Highgate Hill

Area
Highgate Hill
Project Type
Situated on a rise in Highgate Hill, this Brisbane landmark overlooks the river and the Brisbane CBD. It is well worth a look for those interested in Brisbane’s rich architectural history. To be honest, Torbreck was one of the more unique and challenging jobs Rochele painters have had to carry out so far. Being a heritage-listed building Rochele Painting are well aware, and used to the level of care needed to complete such a challenging job. To complete the Torbreck job, Rochele Painting implemented the use of High Rope Access and Abseiling, in preference over traditional scaffold.

Project Description

Body Corporate & Highrises

Another one of Brisbane’s iconic and heritage listed properties in Highgate Hill has recently had a complete re-paint care of Rochele Painting. At 68 metres tall, Torbreck Home Units was Brisbane’s first residential tower. Construction ambitiously began in 1958, was completed in 1960, and was awarded heritage status in 2000.

Access to and from the building has had huge advancements in recent years; the rigging system implemented at Torbreck was a temporary and portable system. The roof, under the waterproofed surface, consists of thin layers of levelling compound, not suitable for permanent anchor points. This is testament to the age of the iconic building.
