The past week was an exhilarating one for our dedicated team from Rochele. This is because on Friday, the 19th of May, they eagerly took part in a competition hosted by Master Painters Australia – the Painters and Plasterers Cup. This event, which brings together painting and plastering professionals for a friendly competition, was an opportunity not just for sporting prowess but also for strengthening networks within the industry.
Representing our Rochele team on the golfing greens were Dave, Steve, Luke, and Alastair. Each member displayed an impressive show of sportsmanship and teamwork. It was an engaging day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the pleasant whack of golf clubs hitting their mark.
In the course of the tournament, although the Rochele team didn’t clinch the coveted Painters and Plasterers Cup, there was certainly a shining moment that deserves recognition. Our very own Alastair earned an individual distinction. He demonstrated a keen eye and a steady hand as he expertly steered his golf ball to win the Nearest to the Pin Award! This victory was a proud takeaway for our team!
Despite not winning the main cup, the Rochele team members returned from the event having enjoyed an enriching experience of competition and wonderful networking opportunities from the day.
